About the VC Connection
The VC Connection is a division of the Email Connection (AKA: Publishers, Agents & Films), which has been connecting writers and filmmakers with publishers, agents, and film industry contacts for over 17 years. We are located in Lafayette, California.
From time to time the company has also made connections in other industries, including the music industry, games and toys, law enforcement, the media, and venture capital.
It now has spun off the VC Connection as a separate service that connects entrepreneurs and business owners with venture capitalists and angel investors.
Gini Graham Scott
GINI GRAHAM SCOTT, Ph.D., J.D., is a nationally known writer, consultant, speaker, and seminar leader, specializing in business and work relationships, professional and personal development, social trends, and popular culture.
She has published over 50 books with major publishers, and has worked with dozens of clients on memoirs, self-help, popular business books, film scripts, and informational videos.
She is the founder of Changemakers Publishing, featuring books on work, business, psychology, social trends, and self-help. It has published over 200 print, e-books, and audiobooks.
She also has written and executive produced 10 feature films, documentaries, and TV/film series. Scott is active in a number of community and business groups, including the Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek Chambers of Commerce.
Gini received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco Law School. She has received five MAs at Cal State University, East Bay, including in Communication.
Cheryl Mahoney
Cheryl Maloney has been buying and selling businesses and real estate in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years.
She holds a law degree and has negotiated many contracts involved in the buying and selling a business or real estate property.
She has also has spent over 25 years in the bar and restaurant industry and has helped buyers and sellers in in this industry, too.
